About Me

Hello my name is Amy LiCausi. I am 42 years old. I have 26 years experience working as a Childcare Assistant/ Legal 2 Provider and a PROUD mother of 4 wonderful boys. I married my best friend James in 2007 and we have been together for 13 years. We have a great family. I couldn't ask for anything more.

When our second child was born my husband and I thought it would be easier for me to stay home. That is when I decided to get back into childcare again and become a Legal 2 Provider. I have always been around children and enjoy caring for them. After my third child was born, I discussed with my husband, opening a family daycare in our home (something I have always wanted to do) and he supported the idea 100%. I love that I have the opportunity to get up everyday, stay home with my children as well as care for other children.

I find great fulfillment in being an important part of each child's life that I care for. I consider it a privilege to care for these children and would not trade my job for anything.

My Goals as a Provider

original?tenant=vbu-digital

Having 4 children of my own, I understand how difficult it can be to leave your child in someone else's care. I experienced this with my first child, leaving him in daycare

at 3mths old. My goal is to build your trust by being a professional, dependable, honest and most importantly caring for your child, the same way I would want my own children to be cared for. My goal is to provide a place where children know that they are accepted, loved, protected and wanted. My job is to make sure that each child has many positive experiences and interactions throughout each day. It is my hope that when the day is done, and the children leave to go home, they are smiling, feel happy, and proud of themselves and can't wait to tell you all about their day.

Communication is a very important part of quality daycare and I am looking forward to building a strong bond with you and your child. It is important to me that you feel completely comfortable and confident when you leave your child in my care. I understand that you are putting your trust in me to care for your child and I take this responsibility very seriously. I chose this profession as a career , not just a job. I look forward to the opportunity to care for your child, keeping them laughing, smiling, and safe for many years to come.
